I believe this shaker to be defective for the following reasons: Facilitate. I'm afraid to put it back on for fear it will never come off again. This is disappointing because I bought it to keep closed when not in use. 2. The thickness of the steel is too thin for the screen; It's about the same thickness as the aluminum soda can that we like to crush. 3. I also bought this to use as a cinnamon cappuccino strainer as the description specifically mentions "Fine Mesh Shaker Cinnamon". However, the screen covering the shaker is not good enough for this purpose. You can easily add a few tablespoons to your coffee.
