Review on ๐Ÿ”ด Enhanced Performance: Prothane 6-116 Sport Track Body Mount, Vibrant Red by Brandon Hayes

They seem to be doing their job.

The case looks as solid as new. My B and C mounts are completely gone. My A and D mounts looked solid so I left them. Ford used some sort of soft, spongy material for their B and C mounts that broke quickly. Any 1st generation Ford Sport Trac that has not been replaced will likely have little left of the B and C body brackets by this point. I used an impact wrench which did the most tedious part of the job getting the bolts into the cab. You'll have to remove some trim and I would recommend removing the front seats, but I think you could do that without removing them entirely. But I recommend taking the opportunity to give your cabin a deep clean. The work from start to finish took me a few hours but if I had to do it all over again I would probably do it in less than 2 hours. Like everyone else, take your time, make a plan, and stick to the plan. It's not difficult. The average DIYer can probably do this on a Saturday afternoon. Oh, one piece of advice: don't use the side bars to raise the truck. I've seen a YouTube mechanic do it this way and I'm surprised he didn't destroy it. You need to take a 4x4 block of wood and jack up the body right at the weld points. Locate the anchor point roughly between anchors B and C.
