Sizing distribution could be better

Although the colors shown on the site are very similar to what I received, I was disappointed with the sizing distribution. There are a few (7) huge knobs and almost all of the others are quarter or nickel sized. Small (the size of a shirt) are only a handful. The holes are also uneven: they are randomly distributed in the form of two or four-hole buttons. If you have a project that involves folding and assembling buttons, this range isn't a good choice as it's not possible to line up the holes to keep the stack straight. Then there is the thickness of the buttons, which varies from very thick to very thin. Obviously this range was formed by mixing buttons from different sources, giving you thick, some thin, some flat, some rimmed, some two and some four holes. While I like the idea of color variations - and they're closer to the basics than pastels - I don't like that the buttons bear so little resemblance to each other in terms of design. This complicates compatibility in some projects. On the plus side - and unlike other ranges - they stick to the color palette they display. They don't slip into brown, black, gray or other colors that are totally unsuitable for craft purposes. In general, I can use a little less than half of the provided buttons for my project. . That said, it's a good average and I'll leave the rest for other projects in the future.
