After reading the reviews with the low ratings I had some doubts but decided to give it a try anyway. And I'm glad I did! :0) Thick, soft, light to medium weight, nice shades of beige and brown (I bought caramel), and most importantly - its ability to warm almost instantly when you dip underneath it in a cool, almost cold bedroom (this is how I like to sleep). I have a much thicker, puffier duvet with some "down alternative"/polyfill and it's warm too, but in the winter I shiver for minutes before finally warming up. . As for the "pungent chemical smell" that other reviewers have mentioned - it's not that harsh and doesn't contain anything chemical, it's a normal smell for natural lanolin. After removing the duvet from the original plastic packaging, the smell is quite noticeable for 20-30 minutes and then gradually dissipates after 24 hours (my package arrived yesterday afternoon and I'm writing this review tonight). ) disappears completely - all you can feel (and only if you stick your nose in a blanket))) ) is a slight pleasant smell of wool, like from any sweater or cap made of 100% natural wool or anything else . Very happy with my purchase PS Only negative, it was VERY difficult for me to get out of bed in the morning and get ready for today's work day, I felt so comfortable underneath. I fear that in December-January it will be almost impossible. )))))))))
