Suitable for everything from parties to family dinners

We've been trying to eat more variety of vegetables, but with two working adults coming home tired at the end of the day, we've found that we cut them up every night meant we shrugged and skipped it in favor of a can of peas or something. We tried to cut and wrap them once a week but again we got fed up with the decision making. (I know it sounds absurd. But after a 10-hour day at work, you eat pretty much anything quick and easy, or at least we do.) This plate went a long way towards solving the problem. Yes, it's plastic, and while it's BPA-free, I'd love to see something similar in acrylic or even lightweight glass (although breaking glass would be problematic in a household with kids). Extremely easy to keep clean, no weird crevices to get in the way when drying. Now we cut vegetables twice a week, load them here and take them to dinner every night. We've never filled the center with gravy, but it's certainly big enough to still hold something like TJ's Onion Gravy in the container. We've also added a ton of other items, from cold meats and cheeses to sliced fruit and grapes. Because it's only white, as long as you use some color it always looks fresh and inviting. The lid snaps on tight enough to keep our veggies fresh and looking pretty. It's also a bit tall, although that would be necessary if you put the plastic sauce container in the middle. I know it's absurd to be so excited about a tray, but it has changed the way we eat.
