I love these pins

I love these pins. Lately I've bought various markers and found that markers are better for learning handwriting and calligraphy. You don't get nice brush strokes, but it makes it easier to get used to the pressure you have to use to get thin and bold strokes, and letter edges are usually clean. As you would expect, the ink bleeds a bit on regular carbon paper, but not as if you were using a marker. I just received the pen so I don't know how long the ink will last. The barrel is comfortable, but even with my "medium-sized" hands, it feels small to me and is now unbearable. The nylon Pentel ink brush (see photo) has a better feel as it's wider, but you have to press on the body to get the ink to flow, and since I'm a learner it takes a while to get used to the strokes get used / ink flow. Also, it's a big brush. I am attaching a photo for comparison. I hope you find my review helpful.
