I broke the bottom of one of those big expensive artificial deer heads. I thought of many ways to solve my problem. I wanted to make some kind of wreath around my neck to hide the defect. Instead I decided to give my wild fix sculpting idea. So glad I did! This was my first experience using air dry clay for modeling. I read many reviews and chose Sculpley. The texture was perfect for the needs. Not too dense, but not like play dough. I was concerned about shrinkage after reading reviews on Air Clay, so I plugged the hole and gave myself a little extra time to work on the surface. I then created a texture to match the rest of the piece and let it dry in the sun on a warm day. Primed and painted the same day. I am very pleased with the end product and how well I was able to fit the mold. I have a lot left in this pack and should try to keep it for future projects.
