I don't necessarily love it. BUT it's not the product's fault

First of all, although I give 5 stars, I don't necessarily like it. BUT it's not because of the products. I didn't research and test enough before buying. However, this is a fantastic keyboard and many people will be very happy with it. Why I don't like it: Like many others with mechanical keyboards, I started with Cherry Blues. I hate the blues so much. They're light, clicky, loud, and UGH. I absolutely hate her. So after owning 3 boards with Blues (why 3 I have no idea.) I decided to take the plunge and upgrade to Cherry Blacks. More actuation force is required, but they are linear so there are no bumps or clicks. I love black switches. My first bulletin board lasted a couple of years and then I bought another one which I've been using for about 5 years now. Lately I've been wanting to switch to tactile switches for some games. There are times when I press the black switch and it doesn't register because I pressed it too lightly, but due to the linear nature of the switch, it's impossible to know how close I was to the point of actuation. So I looked at the counters and settled on the Browns. I wanted a switch similar to my Blacks but with a slight tactile bulge. Unfortunately I don't feel any kick with the Browns. I can feel it if I move very slowly, but with my normal writing style, I blow right past the bump as if it weren't there. It looks like I'm still using Blacks which took away my main reason for buying this board. I'm currently building my own board with Zealios to hopefully solve my problem. Why you'll probably love this board (maybe with different switches): It's a great looking board, no doubt about it. The RGB LEDs look great and almost all customization options are built into the board, so you can use them regardless of the operating system you use. If you're using Windows, you can customize each key using the Cooler Masters software (one of the main reasons I got this was to set colored sections for different games). PBT caps are comfortable to the touch and have a pleasant sound. Definitely sounds more solid than my Ducky with ABS caps. Dedicated multimedia keys are a nice addition to the board. Can't comment on the palm rest as I've never used one (and probably neither have you if you type correctly :p). The braided USB Type-C cable is great. The cable routing under the board is rather weak. The spacing was too much and didn't hold the cable very well, which made it a bit annoying to set up, but once the keyboard is attached it usually stays in one place, so it's probably not a big deal for most people. Overall, this is a great gaming keyboard that many will be happy to have as part of their Battlestation. Just make sure to examine the switches before you jump. If you are new to mechanical switches, you may be very satisfied with these switches. If you've used heavier switches and need tactile feedback, browns probably aren't for you (and you probably already knew that!)
