Because you don't want to damage the sheets. and you can make sure that you check the screen for lint when you get lint it's fabric that pulls away from your fabric causing it to weaken and has a short lifespan EVERYTHING It's no nonsense I've had these sheets for 3 now Years, yes, they take longer to dry, but you save money. It's the heat of the dryer that's skyrocketing your bills, not the fall. It's the sheets. You're sleeping in heaven. HA!
