
It works well. I have an old RX100 with a grip very much like the Sony product, made in England by Richard Franiec, now retired. I have this grippie on my RX100 M5. The best thing about this grip is it helps me distinguish the two cameras from each other. :+) I'd probably go with the cheaper Sony grip, if doing it again, because I don't really need the added stability provided. If I shot a lot of video, it might be worthwhile. But it is a well-made, high quality item.
