These cloth fender covers are similar to those I've used at uniform rental shops and are a good alternative to vinyl for 20-25% less. They can also be used as seat covers and other areas to be protected. Many vinyl fender covers don't hold up very well on new cars and fall off all the time. I bought four packs for my automotive engineering students to try and they seem to work well for them so I will be buying more this month. When using fabric tires, remember that chemicals can penetrate the painted surface and damage the paint. Cloth sleeves are also easier to fold and store.
