Review on 🔌 ACDelco LS92 OEM Multi-Use Lamp Socket - Designed for GM Vehicles by Heath Cullinan

This matched the passenger side tail/brake light connector in my 2003 Silverado 2500 without modification, although not perfectly. The tabs don't look factory sold. After repeated attempts I was able to find a spot where the bushing snapped into place with a little effort and rotated to ensure a good seal. In the seated position, the end of the sub-harness was pointing directly towards the tailgate, so start slightly counter-clockwise from that position. On the back of the plug, the wires are marked "A", "B" and "G". I have the factory cable black, brown and blue. The blue wire went to the outlet at position A, the brown wire went to position B, and the black wire went to position G. If you look at the back of the outlet with the wires pointing down, these are the left, center, and to the right. respectively. . I don't know for sure, but from what I see it I think it's the same as Dorman part #85882, but the Dorman part doesn't seem to come with heat shrink tubing, instead it comes with the connectors that make a solid connection are needed. It took about 20 minutes in total and worked great.
