I have several different battery powered cameras on my property. I put it on my porch screen because delivery companies usually leave packages here and I have a door leading into my house from the porch. This camera was the perfect size because I didn't want anything to "stand out" while relaxing, and my other cameras were slightly larger. Pros: Neatly packaged and very easy to understand and install. After the camera was charged, installation took about 20 minutes. Looks great! Looking good is half the battle, right? Small and slim, it looks modern and doesn't hurt your eyes. The camera is of good quality as you can see from the attached photos. I didn't include a night vision image, but it also works very well. I think you could easily identify intruders if the occasion calls for it. Siren is a new feature not found in any of my other cameras and I could easily see where this feature could be useful in certain areas. I don't always leave it on for that range, but if I were on vacation or out of town I'd probably turn it on. I think it's a nice feature and if you don't like it just turn it off in the app! It will be largely spared from heavy rain. I live in the south where the humidity is extreme at times so I will update the review if I run into any issues. Battery life is also something I can't talk about at the moment since I already own the camera. If I run into any issues I will come back and provide an update of the review. I have several cameras like this and can typically last 6 months on a single charge. However, this is influenced by many factors, e.g. B. if you support 24/7 motion detection, the quality of the camera in HD and SD, how often you check the camera in the app, etc. Cons: The only downside I have is not has anything to do with the camera itself to do, which is why I'm not deducting a star. The application used with the camera is my only "fault" regarding this camera. Again, I have several other cameras that use a different app, and the other apps seem a bit more user-friendly. Also, this app keeps urging you to switch to their "paid" services, which I have no experience with. However, you get all the features I have on my other cameras for free, plus the ability to expand them if you want. I just wish they hadn't forced it on you or given you the option to opt out. The application is also under constant development and may be updated over time. That's all! In summary, this is a great little camera at an affordable price that gives you a lot of extra security at a very reasonable price. Hope the review helps.
