Failed to load media. I love using waterstone, but all bases slide across the counter or desk leaving everything wet. This little beauty solves all problems and is much cheaper than others. I have a granite countertop with a stainless steel sink underneath. The sink itself has an internal width of 16 ¼ inches and there is approximately ¼ inch of additional room on each side as the sink slides out before the granite begins. It stretches enough to get on my countertop, but there's no rubber and I didn't want it to scratch the stone. on stainless steel. The stone is about 1/8 inch wider on one side, so I just gently move it to insert or remove it. Once he reaches his position in the center, he cannot move forward or backward at all. I don't even use the legs, it just fits in there. I can try to use it the normal way, using the legs and laying it on a table top, but I need to find a rubber band or something to protect my counter from scratches. That's the biggest problem with this bridge. The metal is thick, won't bend or sag when sharpened. All screws are 14mm but a small open end wrench is included. Two bolts are longer than the other two and I don't know why. There are no instructions or documentation for this. Advantages => Suitable for most sinks. Expands to over 17" width and 16.3" legs => Durable. The metal is thick and does not sag when sharpened. => Provides a constant water drip to keep the stone clean; the mess ends up in the sink. => Easy cleaning, just take it out of the sink and store it that way; or it may break. Cons <= No rubber or other protective strip to avoid scratching countertop. <= Galvanized steel, not rustproof, so it may eventually rust if left wet. <= Not the easiest way to fold it up for storage when space is at a premium.
