Review on Burnished Stainless KitchenAid Tilt Head Dishwasher Safe by Jay Williamson
Not 100% Stainless Steel
I was expecting to get a polished (blued) stainless steel attachment for my Kitchenaid. It is a stainless steel alloy (mixed metals). It wasn't polished all the way through, just a few spots, the rest had a matte, rough finish that was clearly not stainless steel. Not knowing what other metals were involved I didn't want to use it for cooking so it was returned. I can't blame anyone but myself, I knew it was made in China but I took a chance because I really wanted a stainless steel blade. Lesson learned.
