Not 100% Stainless Steel

I was expecting to get a polished (blued) stainless steel attachment for my Kitchenaid. It is a stainless steel alloy (mixed metals). It wasn't polished all the way through, just a few spots, the rest had a matte, rough finish that was clearly not stainless steel. Not knowing what other metals were involved I didn't want to use it for cooking so it was returned. I can't blame anyone but myself, I knew it was made in China but I took a chance because I really wanted a stainless steel blade…

Pros
  • Fits KitchenAid 4.5-5 Qt. Swivel head stand mixers such as K45SS KSM75 KSM150 KSM152 KSM165 and others
Cons
  • Only available in black

Perfect and better than the KitchenAid Signature Whisk!

Wow! I was afraid to order this as it is not made by KitchenAid but the KitchenAid stainless steel whisk has poor reviews and is more expensive than this one. I've washed it twice in the dishwasher and it doesn't leave any metal marks like some cheap metal products. Shiny, awesome, HEAVY and won't hit the sides of the KitchenAid bowl when blending. Perfect product! I bought this because my original KitchenAid whisk had chipped paint. I wanted a whisk that didn't have this problem.

Pros
  • For efficiently blending and thoroughly mixing icing, cake batter, cookies, pastries, quick bread, cookie dough and more
Cons
  • Doubtful

Heavy but durable, best for kitchen and dining area

I was surprised by the weight of the beater; it is much heavier than ceramic coated, but also much stronger. However, ceramic is much easier to clean than this whisk. I know this one is "safer" because I bought it because my ceramic has significant chipping, so I don't have to worry about it anymore. For some reason the weight confuses me, but most importantly I really liked how easy the ceramic coating is to clean. However, I won't be returning it because I know it's good quality and safer to…

Pros
  • Premium blued stainless steel, no worries about cracking and peeling paint off coated flat beater, makes for a healthier mix
Cons
  • Empty

Much better than the original beater

I am the proud owner of a handcrafted Kitchenaid K45SS - I don't know how old it is. I use this blender almost every day as my son has celiac disease and store bought gluten free bread is gross. Anyway, the finish on the whisk came off in places EEEK! I chose this whisk because it doesn't have a coating that would peel off in my food. It's heavy, looks good, feels good and is dishwasher safer than the old one. It is really the same quality as the mixer and looks a lot better than the original…

Pros
  • Dishwasher safe: highly polished, easy to clean (Note: this accessory is not KitchenAid)
Cons
  • No instructions
