Deflection Bulb for Halogen Bulbs
A bulb should draw attention to what it illuminates, not to itself focuses and emits a sharp beam of light in all directions, even at 90 degrees to its surface. I use it to light a painting above my fireplace but am constantly distracted by the bright light coming from the bulb. I returned it for a flat face lamp like the Phillips Par 16 which doesn't have this problem.
