folks, the first thing I bought this product was because it was cute and would be good for my key. Well today it saved me hundreds of dollars, I was in a hurry, threw a bunch of laundry in the washing machine and left to go to the store, and suddenly after a few minutes I realized that my key was in my Coat pocket was what I put in the washing machine! I got scared and stopped the washing machine. In a panic I saw that my bag was soaking wet, but most of the water just ran down the top of the lid and not directly into my key. Don't get me wrong there was some water in my key from not fully closing it but I was able to salvage my key and it works great! I have no doubt that without the cover I would have sobbed all the way to the dealer to pay for a new key! Super cute and it can save you a lot of money! Highly recommended!
