Two stars because it works. Connected to PC via USB-C port on motherboard, read/write speed around 40MB/s (first screenshot). Connected to a 2017 Macbook Pro using the Macbook's standard USB-C cable - even worse. Runs pretty hot - 85C about 5 minutes after start, 93(!) after 1 hour. The sensor reported 69 C, which is the upper operating temperature range for NVMe. The fence was open the whole time so it would have been even hotter if he was around. However, thermal throttling and transfer rates remained constant (37MB/s) even after prolonged use.
