I’ve only had these a short time. I ordered one about a week ago and loved it so much that I quickly ordered another. Received both very quickly! I believe you can order these in sets of 3s too. The flame really does move and flicker, about 4 different brightness settings. I am using one in a mason jar as part of my coffee table centerpiece decor and another in an antique brass lantern. I have not used the timer function yet as I do not plan to turn these on often during the summer but may do so around Christmas time. I always switch the dial to OFF on the candles when not in use to conserve the batteries. I would love to buy more lanterns at some point and I’m glad to know exactly where I’m going to go for realistic flameless candles!
