These plates are excellent. The right size and quite durable. Also ideal for national cuisines and may contain semi-solids that may contain some liquid in the sauce. We bought these plates after doing a lot of research on eco-friendly compostable plates. Through this process we learned that biodegradable is not the same as compostable. Biodegradable materials can end up in landfills, where they emit harmful methane as they decompose. On the other hand, compostable products can be mixed with garden waste - leaves, twigs, etc. - to form compost. We will buy this product again.
