Installation was easy, 15 minutes. Quality parts and definitely looks a lot better if you're looking for a LED strip to put in there to light up at night. Although maybe it's just me, but it seems like my transmission temp is a bit higher because it gives the transmission cooler less airflow, so like Thag, gm leaves them open (and some Fords do). No overheating issues yet, but where I've been it's only been 20F. We'll see as summer rolls in and I'm towing an 80 and wet with it. But like I said, maybe I just missed it here and there, but I've been following it since it was installed. Just this morning I started it up and when the high idle cut out the transmission temp was 160F, perhaps others who have this can chime in.
