Problems with USB and DVD. doesn't recognize them

I just received this projector. My intention is to put all my family photos and short videos (taken with a regular camera and camcorder, not with a phone camera) on a USB stick and take this projector with friends and family to show family photos and movies . I just received it and should have called support by now. A little more "defect" than we would like, however. the problem is. I store my photos/videos on a 64GB stick. and does not recognize the flash drive. I called. in a nutshell. .This device will ONLY recognize a flash drive of 2GB or less for videos and no limit for images. I also don't recognize a flash drive that has both! Meaning. I need to have a flash drive for photos and a separate one for videos and this one can only hold 2GB of video. I'm very disappointed with this as I have more stuff to take with me, but I'll work on it and see what comes of it. I will update as soon as I learn and the device is working properly. Stay tuned And that's not all. It also doesn't recognize home videos even if I record them with the .AVI extension. I connect my DVD player to the projector. and "purchased" DVDs play excellently. but when I turn on home theater. writes"disk error". However, when I plug the same drive into my laptop and connect my laptop to the projector. The DVD plays fine. I've tried burning it with the .AVI extension but it still doesn't get recognized. So. The bottom line is I can't use it for the reason I bought it. And also. I can't use it unless my laptop is connected to it via the E: drive.
