For the Black Friday price of these scissors, that's a great deal. They cut paper, cardboard, foil, rope and other materials very well. The metal blades are sharp and the length is good. I haven't put them in the dishwasher yet so I don't know how washable they are. The only issue I have with scissors is the small size of the finger holes on the handle. One star deducted for that. For me, the left finger hole is too small to fit four fingers comfortably. Check out the comparison between my old Scotch scissors and these scissors. Scotch brand scissors in the photo on the right. You will notice that the left finger hole on the tape scissors handle is larger and more ergonomically designed for comfort. However, these are scissors, not gems, so they don't have to be perfect. In general, I like scissors. They do what they are supposed to do and I still highly recommend them for their value.
