Review on 🚐 Enhance Your RV with Leisure Coachworks 2-Pack Grey T-Style Door Holder Catch 4'' for Latch Holder Camper Trailer Cargo Hatch by Glen Elevyn

Replacing an old or broken RV door latch is no longer something to worry about or put off!

Although it wasn't an exact match to the original "latch and latch" and I had to fill the holes and move the latch plate (trailer side) to line it up properly, it was an easy installation process. If this is a renovation you "wanted to start" with, here's an easy and inexpensive way to mark it on your wish list. This is a two piece set. So if your RV has two front doors, you are ready to be the hero of your RV! The sturdy plastic latch with T-bar is 2 inches long and holds the RV door open at an angle that doesn't impede the flow of people getting in and out, but doesn't tighten them as much as you might think there might be breakaway door sets out there that Available in black (like my purchase) or white to match your exterior aesthetic, and of course they can be painted any color you can find in a can too. One of the features I like about this set is the ability to attach a T-bar to the latch when not in use. This should help keep it in good condition longer than if it were loose and flapping while riding. It holds them in place and protects them from bumps or snagging on something as you walk by Like I said, this wasn't an exact match for the original set on my van. As such, it doesn't have a "bumper" to keep the door from banging against the side of the van if the wind picks it up. The shield used a longer screw surrounded by a 1-inch plastic sleeve in one corner of the latch. In my opinion the bumper would have turned into a ramrod and cut into the latch on the door, making it much easier to break, as well as potentially damaging the finish of the door and further jamming the longer screw into the trailer wall . . This was one of the reasons I had to patch holes before replacing the plates. I'm glad I was able to find catches that weren't made with this design. Special note: ** For those traveling with a partner and you tend to do such chores (e.g. repairing or emptying the tank) while your partner does other chores (e.g. cooking and cleaning) around the house done on wheels ** This exchange of tasks between you is basically just a game (in all respects) so make the most of it. Don't show it's an easy job. Play it with all your might because you know they don't need flour to make these crunchy rice treats! You deserve praise too! ;-)
