Review on 🔹 LENOX 4-1/2-Inch Diamond Edge Cutting Wheel (1972921) by Anthony Hicks

I was hoping this would replace the fragile abrasive blades but unfortunately it lacks the cutting power of an abrasive blade. I was initially impressed with a few initial cuts in the 1/8" steel tubing, but after trying to cut the welds on my trailer tongue it went very slowly. It took me about 15 minutes to finish the 2" diameter weld to sever. I reworked the remaining 5 seams with a Metabo cut-off wheel, which only took 5 minutes. The only real advantage of this Lennox cutting wheel is that it's made of metal, which is unlikely to explode and hurl shrapnel everywhere. But that has nothing to do with the performance of a cut-off wheel. I have never had a Metabo grinding wheel explode.
