Update I bought a second 1 and this 1 is leaking badly. Not worth returning. So it sucks. The title says I like it. I was afraid it would be too small or too big, but it's kind of the best of both worlds. Now there are many questions and concerns about the internal spring. Yes, you can take it off, but here's the thing. Before using it will be a little difficult. Remember it's aluminum, just keep working on it and bend it a bit and it will pop out. Once you've pulled it out, twist it left or right to tighten or tie what suits you best and give the design what you want. as soon as it comes out it is very easy. I twisted mine just to get out if I ever need it, effortlessly, and I squeezed it because I didn't want it to be that high. And remember that in a year if you want to clean this thing it's going to be slippery and full of dirty stuff so you better keep that in mind because if I didn't spin it a little less it would never come out for me. I use this for model brushes and similar to clean up with paint thinner if that helps anyone. So it's big enough, short and thick so you don't have to worry about it tipping over. As for the seal. Time will tell but I don't think it will be a problem. The lid feels solid and I can unscrew it however I want. it gets slippery and full of shitty stuff so better keep that in mind because if I didn't twist it a little less he'd never come out for me.
