Fits what I need
It's ok. After using the device I can see from the appearance of the lines what the user reviews were talking about. The faded lines that appear on mine appear when scanning documents with a protective or glossy finish. They appear in large colored areas on plain paper. I haven't spoken to anyone about fixing the issue because it's still good for what I bought it for. I bought it for work to scan single black and white documents that don't require color.
