Total tooth thickness in set 1.66mm; So that's the bare minimum. Smooth cut with minimal cracking from 18mm / ¾" Baltic Birch. Moderate burn from too long exposure on my first cut, but pushing just over 1 inch per second reduced the burn without cracking. So I guess that any firing was user error.(The blade was exposed and slipped out of the general bubble wrap but with a warning sticker on the back and a coating on the cutting surfaces of the teeth, so clearly not used. No damage to the teeth due to poor packaging.)
