Is this new? for mechanical and hand tools

First thing that struck me was that the blade wasn't in a blister but I said "maybe to save money". When I checked I noticed some dirt in the center circle (see photo), secondly a tooth was out of line. I am disappointed in this product.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

best saw blade on the market

I thought the saw I bought was too weak because it was difficult to cut 2x6 but it was just a cheap saw blade. Replaced the original blade that came with the saw with a Diablo blade and couldn't be happier. Clean cuts of light. I was able to finish my job in a quarter of the time.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • almost never

Typical Diablo - RELATED

This blade was purchased for cutting 1" countertop "chopping board" style (connected strips of maple, not a true cutting deck). Made a PERFECT cut and I gave the saw to a beginner for the first time and we were very happy with the result - a nice clean cut which I always get with Diablo discs.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Some flaws

Clean cuts with hardened deck

Bought in addition to another Skil purchase 5080-01 13-amp. It was with a 24 ton blade, more for cutting plywood and the like. This blade handled multiple cuts in my engineered bamboo boards like butter. I can't expect better quality cuts than what I got but this is my first foray into this direction so take it with a grain of salt.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Great final blade!

I've used many different hand-held circular saws, hand-held circular saws and miter saws and I have to say that I really like the Diablo brand. This blade is absolutely perfect for trimming maple, oak, walnut etc. Veneered plywood, most blades will cut the hell out, these blades buzz through and through. I have the same table saw blade and it cuts like butter to be honest cuts perfectly without chipping great blade.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Weight

Excellent disc for delicate work

Bought this disc specifically for cabinet cutting. I had to install a microwave over my stovetop (upgraded from an old range hood) and the gap was only an eighth of an inch smaller. This blade with Makita 5007mg did the job perfectly. I have a nice even edge, I never lost control and no sanding was required afterwards. I've been a fan of the Diablo brand for many years, so I was sure in advance that I was buying exactly what I needed, and I did.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged

Good Baltic birch cut, fine kerf, poor packaging

Total tooth thickness in set 1.66mm; So that's the bare minimum. Smooth cut with minimal cracking from 18mm / ยพ" Baltic Birch. Moderate burn from too long exposure on my first cut, but pushing just over 1 inch per second reduced the burn without cracking. So I guess that any firing was user error.(The blade was exposed and slipped out of the general bubble wrap but with a warning sticker on the back and a coating on the cutting surfaces of the teeth, so clearly not used. No damage to the teethโ€ฆ

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Minor problems

A great product that cuts plywood and MDF like butter

A great product that cuts plywood and MDF like butter. The finish is very smooth and straight. You can't go wrong with a Diablo blade. They are the best. I'm giving one star because of the packaging. If you go to a store that sells these blades, you know they come in plastic packaging. This came in a cardboard sleeve almost ready to be cut into small pieces (there were already a few holes from the saw blade). Not sure why it didn't come in retail packaging but it's embarrassing because it's not

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Zero
