Ordered S based on waist 30 recommendation. Also fits well with a bit more room. I believe the company has updated the sizing chart to match US sizing. I didn't have to order a size up. ((THIS IS NOT FOR PEOPLE WITH SMALL TAILS AND LONG LEGS HOWEVER)) 5'9 - 5'10 and the pants are just long enough to hide my laces. Did a few squats etc - no tears yet but nothing double stitched. If I could recommend one company, it would be double stitched pants.
