Review on Transform Your Workspace with Tadeto: The Ultimate Portable Backlight Weighted Factories by Blake Mannasseh

Excellent quality good for sound and noise meters

This meter does exactly what it needs to do. As far as I could tell from testing, its accuracy is as advertised (i.e. it has a 30-130dB range and +/- 2dB accuracy, when in reality the advert only shows a 0.1dB step). ). The scope of delivery includes a fabric carrying bag including a screwdriver and batteries (!) and a small instruction manual. The instructions don't tell you much, but they shouldn't tell you much. The controls are easy to learn and intuitive, with just two buttons on the device. One thing that maybe should be mentioned in the guide for those who don't know is the difference between the A and C weights. It's easy to switch between the two by simply pressing a button on the device. In general, most people want to use the A-weighting, which distinguishes low frequencies almost as well as the human ear (and is therefore useful for frequencies above about 500 Hz). The C-weighting, on the other hand, does not distinguish between low frequencies and would therefore be useful for measuring noise below 500 Hz from say heavy machinery. Whatever your goal, this is a good device to have on hand.

  • Digital LCD
Cons
