I have wavy, naturally curly hair that can often be styled into frizz with typical cotton pillowcases. As soon as I replaced my pillowcase with this silk one, I noticed my hair looked a little easier to comb the next morning, especially on the top of my head. The material itself is high quality considering the price, but not comparable to fine silk. I've had some issues with very dry patches on my skin (from eczema) that would "stick" to silk strands, but the silk didn't break or anything. However, when I ran the sheer silk blouse down my face, I didn't experience the same "snag". The zipper is also of pretty poor quality so I'm curious to see how long it will last before it gets stuck in one place forever. something I've never experienced before. Nothing has changed in my skin care routine. I stopped using the pillowcase and the bumps are gone. I then followed the instructions for washing the pillowcase and used a mild detergent that didn't irritate my skin to wash the pillowcase again. I slept on it again and the bumps on my temples returned, but not as significantly. Overall the pillowcase worked great for my hair but not for my very sensitive skin. I recommend washing a few times before use.
