This trimmer is exactly what it says it is. It is an effective and efficient way to get rid of facial hair as well as unwanted body hair. It's not trendy and doesn't have all the bells and whistles that some of the more expensive options offer, but if you're looking for an electric shaver to trim and maintain your look then this is a great value product. I have used many electric shavers in the past and I always try to maintain a specific facial hair look. I usually let my beard grow until it's a decent length and looks a little unkempt. After that I like to do a 5 hour shade, trim and groom until it grows back. This shaver is great for my needs. It has pre-installed guards that I can use to get the exact length I'm looking for. They fit perfectly and you don't have to worry about losing them while shaving. The guards are great for every short look and 5 o'clock shadow look I use, but they don't have a lot of adjustments if you want a longer beard. There are adjustable protections for this, but I didn't find them as reliable as the default protections. The razor is exactly the size and look you would expect and is actually a higher quality material than you might think for the price. It feels solid and not as cheap as some of the other electrical devices I've used in the past. It's battery powered, so be aware that you'll have to spend money on batteries in the future, which obviously makes the cost less impressive. I have noticed that it is very powerful for an electric shaver and compared to the cheap plug shaver I have used before it is much more powerful and I have not worried about pulling my hair out or the couldn't get the job done. This is a very basic trimmer that is great for anyone who needs a quick shave or is on the go. It won't replace your blades for a smooth, close shave, but it does allow you to tidy up when you only have a few minutes, and it's really good at getting rid of unwanted hair. I use a razor once a week to trim my neck hair and shave the line, and then use it daily or as needed to maintain desired beard length and tidy up when I don't have time to shave with the blade. . This razor can also be manipulated and I use a guard to avoid cutting myself. It works. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who needs an electric as for the price this product is way better than what you are paying for.
