Review on 🪚 Coghlan's Foldable Saw: Optimize Your Search by Joe Duncan

I would give this a 5 IF it broke before I could use it. So why not 1? Because for me it was a pretty easy fix. The plastic hinge that attaches the handle to the main arm broke at the rivet that holds the piece together. This happened even before I sawed the tree. I bought a small piece of sheet metal and new rivets and replaced the broken piece. Now the saw is much better than new. BUT! This begs the question, can I trust this saw in the wild as it comes from the manufacturer? In other words, NONE! It's a great, light and functional saw, but if you're going to buy one and need to rely on it, you'd better be prepared to modify it as soon as you get it. Otherwise, you might see a useless tool right when you need it the most. I should mention that I contacted Coghlans and informed them of the issue but they never responded. One last thing: Revain went out of their way to fix this issue for me. They are simply unbeatable when it comes to customer satisfaction.
