🪚 Coghlan's Foldable Saw: Optimize Your Search Review

This saw is amazing! I've wanted to buy one for a long time. Trimming trees and sawing in general is much easier thanks to the deep serrated blades and triangular shape.

I only took it on a hike, but it worked well. I love the way it packs and is light enough for multi-day, overnight backpacking trips where minimizing weight is important. I can't confirm durability until I use it more. Will be updated if problems arise.

I got this saw about 20 years ago but my son broke it a few years ago. How I have no idea, but anything can break. I bought another one for myself last year and then this year for my daughter to decorate the Christmas tree. Very good light folding saw, ideal for camping. Easy to wear, easy to use, cuts great!

I had the same problem as the others; The plastic part that forms the hinge is broken. I ended up making a new part out of aluminum. The design is great in the way it folds and unfolds, but they really need to rethink the design and make this piece out of aluminum. The saw cuts very well and the blade is a standard size so it's easy to change.

Extremely strong and durable! Exactly what I was looking for! Compact and lightweight insect bag. Slightly higher than the bag but can be attached to the side. If you're looking for the perfect saw that takes up less space, look no further. Costs money! Very sharp blade plugs into place, easy to assemble. Ideal for camping and outdoor activities when you need to chop down logs or trees with ease.

After reading many reviews on this saw I decided to take a chance. Knowing that this brand usually doesn't generate rave reviews for the quality of the product. Well, after unpacking and inspecting the saw, I found that this is a well made part, made in Canada! I wasn't expecting this, more like believing it was cheaply made in China. I bought it to take with me when I travel. I unboxed the first one I received and fixed the blade with no problems. Then, when the pressure on the blade was released to disassemble it, the plastic handle broke. I thought I had a defective saw so I sent it back for a replacement. I would give this a 5 IF it broke before I could use it. So why not 1? Because for me it was a pretty easy fix. The plastic hinge that attaches the handle to the main arm broke at the rivet that holds the piece together. This happened even before I sawed the tree. I bought a small piece of sheet metal and new rivets and replaced the broken piece. Now the saw is much better than new. BUT!
