Review on Skyjacker B8538 Shock by Sean Purnomo

The shock absorber's job is to keep the tires in contact with the road when going over bumps. This shock doesn't bounce on its own, which puts no pressure on the axle to keep the tires in contact, making for a terrible ride. I wish I could give -5 stars, I returned them for Rancho OEM shocks that rebound. I'd go with the ranch for the cheaper one or splurge for the fox. That's my 2 cents.
