I was deceived! The product does not correspond to the description at all.

To the parents who are considering purchasing this phone for their child: please do not make the same mistake I did. I made the decision to purchase a device that can function as both a "dialer" and a messenger for a student who is currently enrolled in junior high school after reading some reviews. Lightweight, very small, and very affordable. Did not anticipate anything particularly remarkable, but had the following goals in mind: 1. Place a cover over it and a protective screen in front of it because once children get their hands on something, everything starts "burning." In the end, it does not really matter if the device fails entirely because it is so cheap to replace. 2. I was interested in putting in place a reputable anti-spam program (from a well-known company). From my previous experiences, even if a child does not call anyone from a new number other than their parents, con artists from abandoned numbers will start calling the child very quickly, which will frighten the child. 3. I was planning on installing a program that would prevent access to the internet as well as some new applications (from the same well-known company). In order to shield the child from unwelcome information and "toys" that interfere with his or her capacity to learn. I was unable to perform ANY of the aforementioned actions on this "device." 1. After the protective screen was installed, the phone almost completely stopped responding to the user's touches. It became an extremely challenging task to do something as simple as choose an item from the menu. 2. While I was installing important programs for me, the phone displayed a message saying that "in order to save battery power," it cannot grant these applications permission to work with pop-up windows. As a result, I was unable to launch the programs after they had been installed. Obviously, the intention behind this limitation is not to preserve the life of the battery in my phone. In the end, why do I even need this charge if I can't install the applications that are essential to my work? This is a man-made restriction placed on the capabilities of a low-cost device. Naturally, Samsung is within its legal rights to act in this manner. But why don't merchants or Samsung provide a warning about this feature before the purchase? Following the events of this story, the credibility of the brand has taken a nosedive.

Pros
  • 1. low in both weight and size. Not a shovel, and don't reach for your hand or pocket. 2. Inexpensive
Cons
  • 1. Prevented the normal operation of significant programs (see comment below) 2. After a protective screen has been installed, the responsiveness of the screen to touches is significantly reduced.
