I agree with the reviews complaining about the lack of usability. This device works with my MacBook Pro. I didn't buy it for that. I bought to use an Android tablet and it is not plug and play for this device. The instructions do not give instructions. I'll keep trying to figure out how to enable this usage but nothing but disappointment from my first night. UPDATE: After my initial check, I was able to get the monitor working with my Huawei Mate 10 Pro phone. It does NOT work with my Asus Zenpad or Chuwi Hi9Pro. Even now it is not clear why. I'm not sure what I could do to do better research before purchasing. It could be a difference in USB 3.0 or 3.1 specifications. There may be a straight answer, but the seller needs to do a lot more to enlighten people. The product itself is good when it works. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much a buyer can do to know if this product will work with their device. The most consistent ease of use seems to be with the MacBook Pro and it works great for me, but again that's not the device I bought it for.
