First the company contacted me before shipping to confirm my shipping address, very nice. The water jugs are made of hard plastic, not the soft rubber material like my travel bladder. Made of. I said that in the product details but I missed it. Hard plastic isn't what I was looking for because I was sure it would crack and break with daily use on the trail. At the same time one of the jugs had cracked. When I filled them with water there was a hole small enough to allow for slow leakage. Also, another's screw cap leaked when it fell on its side, enough to empty the jug halfway. The company added a free gift to my order and it was a very useful gadget, but I don't know if every order gets a 'gift'. All in all I will not be returning an item as with a gift and a jug that works most of the time it was well worth the price and as I said if I realize they are hard plastic I wouldn't buy. My fault, not the company's.
