Inexpensive

Used this bag and several other smaller bags to carry drinking water on a 5 day kayak trip. It worked pretty well but I was pretty sure I used it first as it had a mysterious slow leak somewhere upstairs, I kinda couldn't figure out where. My friend had the same bag with no problems. It's still usable, I just have to be careful to keep it upright.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Working Speed

Item comes with plastic ring for baby lock broken in two pieces broken. Tried to use, filled and found it to be unstable and easily tips over. Falls, which amounts to chaos in a camp scenario. Fragile plastic and the lack of a strap or sturdy bottom design leaves room for the desire for an alternative product.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Largely ok but...

leakage of original caps; Replace with Nalgene.

I have ordered 4 packs of these water bags. I'm happy with the size, shape and material, but the caps are leaking. I replaced them with higher quality Nalgene caps which have proven to be waterproof. The size and shape of these bags are well suited for storing water in the small spaces available when car camping. The replacement Nalgene cap strap slides over the hard white plastic ring on the case, preventing the cap from getting lost.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Empty

Large water bottle easy to hold and pour

I bought this water container to take with our RV when we were 'off the grid' and needed easy access to water and easy pouring . This bottle is perfect! We were winterized on a trip from Wisconsin to South Florida in December and I needed a water bottle that's easy to pour when traveling. This bottle did a great job putting it in our shower stall. Ease of use compared to a 5 liter jug. The lid fits well and doesn't leak.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Weight

Ideal for hiking

I took the 8L Big Mouth on a week long hike recently. This allowed me to add enough filtered water for dinner, breakfast, and drinking water for the whole day all at once. Eventually, since it folds up, it was easy to put it in my backpack. The large opening made filling and pouring very easy. I bought a second Big Mouth to keep in our trailer for easy storage of water when needed. The Big Mouth has it all: easy filling, large capacity, foldable and very strong construction.

Pros
  • Durable surface
Cons
  • The list goes on.

You are leaking. The straps are too big to hold hats.

Bought two. Both will flow out from under the lid unless sitting upright. Roughly the opposite of what a collapsible water bag is supposed to do. You can't fill it or partially fill it and hide it in an empty space in a truck, RV, or van. Some assholes have designed the "cuffs" to come off with the lids, so they're pretty much useless. They won't prevent you from losing your cap and can fall off while filling if you're not careful as the tether design is the opposite of how it should be…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Disappointed with these

We bought 4 with the intention of carrying plenty of water for camping in areas where we might not have access to water. On the first day one of the containers fell off the picnic table bench at our campsite (they aren't very sturdy) and the seal around the neck of the lid came loose and the plastic ripped rendering the container virtually unusable. We ended up throwing it away. On our second outing, it turned out that the second had a hole in the side near the neck. I have no idea how that…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • High price

It's hard plastic. on sports and outdoor accessories

First the company contacted me before shipping to confirm my shipping address, very nice. The water jugs are made of hard plastic, not the soft rubber material like my travel bladder. Made of. I said that in the product details but I missed it. Hard plastic isn't what I was looking for because I was sure it would crack and break with daily use on the trail. At the same time one of the jugs had cracked. When I filled them with water there was a hole small enough to allow for slow leakage. Also…
