After a long search for a space themed duvet cover for our 5 year old son we settled on this one despite there being no reviews yet. His wish was that it should have a black background to make it look like outer space, and it should have stars, plants, rockets and astronauts on it - requests are surprisingly hard to come by. My requirements were good fabric and construction, decent price, and I had to love it :). We haven't washed it yet, but so far I like the microfiber fabric - the patterned top has a silkier texture, the white backing is more matte (so it's soft against the skin when you're not using a top sheet, and it's not from the bed either slide). The edges are edged with white satin trim. Love the art, it's cute enough for a 5 year old but not childish and will give my little one a long time to enjoy. The only thing I would change, and the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is to make the back and piping black or some other darker matching color - white looks a bit ridiculous and I can imagine it getting dirty will (he doesn't like tops).
