Amazing results and always a crowd pleaser when we wear them. Now I want to put LED strips everywhere in the house. Just not for this one. Unless I light up the bottom of my electric skateboard, which I still couldn't because this product isn't waterproof. Think again before you buy this. If you're using this to light the same thing but find you need more than one of these strips for that, e.g. B. slightly longer than 6.6 feet or a length of this product that is not enough for anything, there is a A big negative factor for this product never to be considered as a competitor. Ideally I'd love to use longer LED strips that plug into an outlet simply for the overall quality, color options, lengths and results, but there isn't an outlet close to where I wanted to install them in the house , without getting in the way or making it look sticky. After much searching and unsuccessful attempts to find a single battery LED strip that was over 7 feet long, I bought it for the stairs leading up to the bedroom. We have two handrails going up the stairs, the shorter one is 3ft and the longer one is 10ft. I had to buy three of these strips to match the length of the rails as you can't connect the strips via a single power supply like you can buy to plug into an outlet. So two strips fit the long ladder, one is shorter, and the third strip I cut to 3 feet for the shorter rail. Each of them came with a wireless remote control, which turned out to be a nightmare. After installation which is extremely easy and took less than 5 minutes. I used black round velcro stickers to secure the battery under the rail so it's hidden but still accessible and easy to remove for battery changes. As I lined them up and tried to switch between different modes, I found that each remote would work with multiple lights at once, but with different cooldowns, and to set them all to the same thing took seriously some time just for the sake of the press of buttons on different remotes at different times actually just guessing trying to sync them up but resorted to setting them all to solid options just because we couldn't get the fade option, transitioning through different colors showing up the same time and colors are set for all three fires without going crazy before it succeeds. If the furnishing part wasn't disappointing enough, these lights don't last more than a couple of nights before they start dying. But he does give you fair warning before he dies, as it appears he has a personality disorder at the last minute, where one of the light bars randomly changes color and mode and starts fading instead of the night before to keep a solid color after his death. After purchasing three stair lights, they all come with separate batteries that run out at different times. When a light finally goes out after the last two days in a state of confusion it just looks sad and pathetic because half my splint is lit but not long enough to look natural. At this point you can clearly see that there are multiple tapes. It's a hassle constantly changing batteries to keep them the same color even at this price point. The rail is only 3ft long, the battery lasts a long time not to be intrusive but then it just looks incomplete. Too much hassle to see these issues and still fix them and make them a part of my life, so I make the decision to keep the battery powered light strip I cut out for the smaller rail and buy a 10-foot -USB light-emitting diode. a light bar from another seller that matches the length of the long handrail and is even longer to avoid the guesswork of syncing multiple identical light bars with multiple identical wireless remotes. Since this will be a USB adapter I can plug it into my Anker battery, mount it on the wall and charge it when needed without having to buy permanent batteries. It's good that it wasn't a costly mistake, but the lesson was learned. Quality, not quantity, is an important factor in deciding whether to spend some money or go for certain products.
