Review on Rustproof Grommets by General Tools: Durable and Effective for Various Applications by Joe Glass

I don't install bushings every day so spending hundreds of dollars on a stock press just wasn't in my budget. For those of us with small projects, this set was perfect! It has everything you need to get the job done. The anvil, perhaps the most important part of the set, is very well made. I would give 5 stars. A block of wood is just a piece of oak. The cutter works well, I would give it 4 stars. I would say the grommets aren't the best so I'd probably give them 3 stars. But again, the most important part is the anvil, and this kit offers a top-quality anvil that can accommodate hundreds and hundreds of grommets. I used a nylon webbing cutter so it doesn't cut the best. I suspect it works much better on leather or cotton. It worked though, it just wasn't that great. The pads are relatively light. I have definitely used heavier bushings in the past. However, they were free and bundled and they work great and seem to be holding up. I'm not sure how they will hold up over time, but I'll just have to see. So if you want some really nice, top-of-the-line jacks, you'll probably have to buy them separately. Overall I give this set 5 stars because it offers a great anvil and is very affordable.
