good job done

I bought a pair of front mats that didn't have hook holes in the bottom. They didn't stop and continued to slide up under the brake and expeller. I bought this set and found it very easy to use and it did the job perfectly! The only tricky part was determining the exact wear to place the holes.

Hole cutter needs to be longer

This is my third purchase of a bushing kit (now available in three sizes). All of them come with roughly the same tools - a punch, an anvil, and a mandrel. This one also includes a small piece of hardwood (looks like a walnut; I have lots of wood; I cut out pieces of oak and poplar but none of them were hard enough so this small piece of wood will come in handy). The problem for me was that when using a hole punch (a tube pointed at one end) I used a hammer to hit the index finger of my left…

Does the job, inexpensive useless cutting tool

When I needed to add some grommets to a vinyl banner I wasn't sure which to choose: a hammer or a crimping tool. I chose this one because it's cheap and I think it was the right choice, it worked very well. I repeat the thoughts that the cutting tool/bit is useless. It is not sharp and will not cut through without a firm hammer blow. Cutting the X through the banner with a precision knife helped. Then the other tools worked fine. It would be better if the cutting attachment removed the piece…

great for a golfer - Industrial Hardware

Gosh I only use these 3 maybe 4 times a year. Buying an expensive wearable device made no sense to me. It can be a little tricky to cut through the material with the device they give you, but once you get a good idea of the circle a razor or small pair of scissors will work just fine. The rest of the process is easy. If you play golf and want to put towels on your bag, this size is best. I use this on the back of my golf cap with a large brim in the back and hang it on a hanger on my golf cart…

Works perfectly best in grommets

Simple and easy to use. I read several reviews and this product works great. Several reviews were negative due to the cutter not working properly and some bushings were missing. I found the cutter worked well. I'm sure some materials are easier to cut than others, but I haven't had any problems. I got 3 sockets (upper half) shorter. I guess I accidentally doubled when using a few of them. They are very thin and two can be mistaken for one. Didn't realize my mistake until a few were done. I made

Great for replacing torn upholstery - just add a hammer

When I bought my retractable camper there were about 8 torn upholstery on the ends of the bunk(s). Originally, part of assembling the camper consisted of wrapping the loops of anti-shock cord around the knobs on the underside of the bunk ends. The cords wore out over time and the previous owner tied knots on them and then pulled too hard. I figured this should be an easy fix. Once I had a firm surface in my workspace, I followed the directions (and replaced the bungee cord loops with new 4-inch

Amazing value for this cute little shim kit!

I don't install bushings every day so spending hundreds of dollars on a stock press just wasn't in my budget. For those of us with small projects, this set was perfect! It has everything you need to get the job done. The anvil, perhaps the most important part of the set, is very well made. I would give 5 stars. A block of wood is just a piece of oak. The cutter works well, I would give it 4 stars. I would say the grommets aren't the best so I'd probably give them 3 stars. But again, the most…

Good price - Industrial equipment

Good set for this price. Includes everything you need to install grommets except a hammer. The eyelets themselves are of decent quality. Time will tell if they hold up well and don't rust. My package was ajar and most of the contents spilled into the box. Two washers were missing so I didn't get 24 full sockets. I have 22 full sockets. It's not the end of the world. I only needed about 1 for my project and imagine I only need 1 from time to time. Everything works as I imagined. The wooden part…
