Follow the ebay size/fit recommendations and the size chart on the listing. The listed sizes are actually smaller than standard US sizes, and the trunks run small. The trunks I have worn for many years are 3X, but the same fit in these is 5X, and the size chart in the listing reflects that discrepancy.I ordered the same design in 3 different sizes just to be sure, and other than receiving one of the sizes in the wrong design they seem to be an okay quality for the price.
