Installed it at a bike shop so I know it was installed correctly. I bought "wired" after reading that some people have problems with their cell phones or other wireless interference. I like that they had to set it up with a big incline. The bike shop mounted it flat on the center post (top) of the handlebars and it's 100% direct in the sun. It reaches about 107° and most of the summer it is 100° or more in the shade. This is sunny (but lousy) California. In a short time he made discolorations (probably burns) on the glass. I can still use it and I don't blame the manufacturer, but I don't advise installing it horizontally, as if lying on the ground so that the sun does not fall on it. I like the features and it works well. I want someone to come out with one with a light that can be turned on and off. This allows you to see it at night.
