As many have said, on my 2006 Rubicon steering box it will catch about halfway through the splines before bottoming out. This is a picture of him with the anti-seize and the nut tightened to 185 ft-lbs. I removed the Pitman arm and heated it in a vise with a gas torch for about 1 minute. I slipped it back over the splines and got an extra turn on the nut after tightening it. The arm is now about 2/3 the length of the slots. Lets see what happens. The stock bipod arm was about 2 turns higher than the nut.
