After using this meter for more than 2 months to calibrate surround sound rooms, this monitor consistently shows higher dB levels than they actually are, resulting in a miscalibration of the audible levels. The readings seem consistent so you tend to trust them, but they are very inaccurate and there's no way to know without comparing them to other gauges in the same area. I finally found out by comparing this meter to others after complaining about low sound levels in calibrated rooms. It has also been found that Mode A on this gauge is consistent with Mode C on others - many things can be out of spec on this gauge. This meter cannot be relied on for accurate measurements.
