Love this tester. Bought a car at a dealership and a few weeks back i got my free oil change and mentioned the brake fluid was bad. So i was like oh really? Popped it in and tested it in front of them and said, no its good dont try to sell me a service my car doesn't need. They were left saying oh our mistake 🤣🤣 savage! Love testers as such for this very reason. Then tested my honda which is 16 years old and found that fluid needing replaced. Happy camper! Would recommend to any novice DIY guy/gal or mechanic that needs an affordable tester for dot 3 or 4 brake fluid.
- Works great, it lit up like a Christmas tree as soon as it hit my old brake fluid in my motorcycle.
- It may not work as effectively on old or contaminated brake fluid
